A Must for Campers & Hikers Looking back, all band antennas were either large or expensive. The EFAB Antenna does not require radials. The antenna can be mounted in vertical, Efab installed horizontally, notice how well it blends into the background. Weight - 4 pounds Power – 1500 Watts Pep Polarization – Vertical, Horizontal, Sloped Connector – SO-239 Max SWR < 2.6:1 – (3:1 tuner required on some bands) Bands – All frequencies from 3.0 MHz to 52 MHz (80 to 6 meters no gaps) Weight - 6 pounds Power – 1500 Watts Pep Polarization – Vertical, Horizontal, Sloped Connector – SO-239 Max SWR < 2.6:1 – (3:1 tuner required on some bands) JIM MEYER I was asked to test and evaluate this new antenna(Efab) from a new and up coming company in This antenna was designed specially for the apartment dweller, portable, field day, or emergency applications. It will withstand the full legal limit and the bandwidth is pretty flat with just a few exceptions at some points on some bands. Now, what I refer to as flat is a SWR of 2.0-1 but with some exceptions of 1.7-1 to 2.5-1 but not to worry your 3-1 tuner in most rigs should tune it with ease. But let me say the only band I had any issue with was 6 meters. Receive wise, the antenna did well compared to my other antennas. It's a good antenna for what it was primarily designed to do and I am proud to been able to test it at my QTH. 73 Smitty WB3IAL I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you that I was really impressed with your designs and with the products that I saw at the Skyview Hamfest this morning. Although I do not have any immediate need for a new antenna, I will be sure to refer anyone that I know to your website. I wish you all of the luck with your business and hope that you do really well in the future!!! I had seriously looked at the Comet CHA-250B as an easy antenna for new hams to get on the air quickly but the cost was astronomical for what marginal performance it offers. Your antenna designs provide a very attractive alternative at an affordable price!!! Since most new rigs now seem to have built-in ATUs the EFAB antenna seems like a natural and quite affordable antenna especially handy for space limited new users to get their feet wet without breaking the bank... Customer Comments
To whom it may concern,
I have been using this antenna(Efab Max) for the last two months and am very pleased with it, so far if I can hear them I can most definitely work them. I use this with my limited space and it gets out great. I talk to Europe and beyond with this thing(Efab Max). I use a FT-950 and a SB-200 amp that loafs along at around 550 watts and the antenna accepts it nicely. Just wanted to drop a line and say that it works great! Mike KC2PLJ

Hey, I want to say, I've had a chance to put my antenna (Efab) up and give it a 'test drive' the results have been very very good. In fact, so good that my friend has ordered the same antenna. He was impressed with MY results. I've heard some skeptics saying how these antennas are big dummy-loads and can't work. I only run 5 watts max with this antenna, and last night from my home QTH I worked a station in
